i've been so busy lately that i've not done much art besides doodles & i haven't written much either which is making me guilty like mad.

until about a month ago, junior year had been relatively tolerable (excluding alg2trig) and all the sudden i have like four projects between just two teachers; an essay w/ the prompt of what to do to get all the homeless, crazy people off the streets in a logical, possible way (for pyschology); an impossibly complicated book for hn us studies english; and like 17 pg reading assignments for history every other night. and exams are coming up. and german isn't fun anymore. and i'm not sleeping for more than maybe four or five hours every night now for like two weeks and it's starting to kill me.

and i did something stupid and signed myself up for a Poetry Slam at my school, BUT I HAVE NOTHING TO READ! i haven't written any poetry (that i would feel comfortable reading in front of my school) in -months-, and looking back at most of my old stuff, i don't like it too much. i'm an idiot.

that and i'm trying to figure out how i'm going to get to Lake Charles, LA to meet up with my youth group the day after i get home from Germany. and it sucks because i'm going to miss a LOT of bonding time the group will have because i'll be stuck in ridiculously long layovers coming back to MO. stupid.


i'm done complaining now.
